Lookin Cool For School

Lookin Cool For School is a faith-based program that provides back to school clothes, backpacks and supplies to children from low income families in South Shasta County.  This program is designed to send children to school with dignity so they can do their best work and stay in school.  Families apply for assistance based on income and are randomly selected to attend a shopping event where a volunteer assists them to get what they need for school.  The number of families selected is entirely based on the amount of money donated.  100% of the tax deductible donations are spent on the children.  Lookin Cool for School is entirely staffed by volunteers and the administrative costs are provided by specific donors.
